Today, our career counselor, Kateriina Zlatanovska Popova, had the pleasure of holding a dynamic Career Counseling session with the amazing students from DUCOR “Partenija Zografski” in Skopje – a secondary vocational school dedicated to students with hearing impairments. According to recent reports from the World Economic Forum, the rapid advancement of technology and automation is reshaping the global job market. While some traditional roles are expected to decline, this transformation is also paving the way for millions of new jobs in emerging sectors. Preparing today’s youth for these changes is more important than ever.

It was a perfect occasion to inspire and explore Jobs of the Future!

Katerina presented two fascinating and forward-thinking professions: AI Ethicist – the guardian of ethical innovation in technology – and Terraformer Engineer – the dreamer and builder of tomorrow’s sustainable worlds, part of the Industry 5.0 project, which aim to prepare young people for the future of work and emerging professions.

Exploring the concept of IKIGAI, Katerina encouraged students to reflect on their passions, strengths, and values, helping them discover meaningful career paths where their interests, skills, societal needs, and potential earnings all align.

The students’ curiosity and comments made the session truly unforgettable.
