On 29 December 2025, FUTURAMA 4P successfully organized a pilot validation workshop as part of the Erasmus+ project Green Future of HoReCa, bringing together 12 experts from the hospitality and vocational education sectors.

The workshop gathered a diverse group of stakeholders, including restaurant managers, hospitality managers, VET teachers, culinary educators, chefs involved in vocational education, trainers, and consultants, who evaluated the project’s educational programme and the Guide “ESG in HoReCa – Green Skills for the Future.”

During the four-hour workshop, participants explored the two learning pathways developed within the project:

• ESG Trainer Programme – designed for VET teachers, adult educators and company trainers;
• ESG Leader Programme – aimed at hospitality professionals and managers.

Experts reviewed the programme structure, workshop scenarios, case studies, practical worksheets, assessment tools and other educational resources. Through interactive discussions and a structured evaluation process, they provided valuable recommendations for further improving the materials before their final publication.

The feedback was overwhelmingly positive. Participants highlighted the program’s practical approach, learner-centered methodology and strong focus on experiential learning. They particularly appreciated the use of real-life hospitality examples and the ready-to-use educational resources that can be immediately implemented in vocational schools, adult education centers and hospitality businesses.

The recommendations collected during the workshop will be incorporated into the final version of the Guide, ensuring that the educational materials are even more relevant, practical and responsive to the needs of both the HoReCa industry and vocational education.

The Green Future of HoReCa project continues to support the development of ESG competences by providing innovative learning resources that promote sustainable practices, responsible leadership and green skills across the European hospitality sector.
